After providing a performance in his movie ‘Rangoon’, the fans and moviegoers are eagerly awaiting for celebrity Shahid Kapoor’s next launch that is ‘Padmavati’. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this period drama is going to be the first time when the celebrity will be teaming up together with the filmmaker. Many would remember that filmmaker Bhansali is fond of repeating his celebrities, be it Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or even Ranveer Singh along with Deepika Padukone. After working together with Shahid in ‘Padmavati’, you will find reports stating that the filmmaker is keen to cast him again to his next movie titled ‘Fridays and Tuesdays’, a romantic humor.
However, Shahid rubbished all those reports. The actor has shown that he hasn’t signed anything after ‘Padmavati’. He has quoted into some major agency, “I have not signed anything after ‘Padmavati’ and it is not a thing to be worried about. You should worry whenever you’re not doing a good movie. It is ok to wait and do movies. Further, when asked about registering ‘Tuesdays and Fridays’ with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he stated, “I read about it. But nothing has been signed by me after ‘Padmavati’. So wait for a (official) announcement.” [sic]
On ‘Padmavati’, ” Shahid said, “I am not likely to talk much about the movie. All I can say is it will be a spectacular experience and it’s an wonderful cast. I am having an amazing time on it. Wait for it, it’s coming from November.” [sic]
Shahid Kapoor will be seen enjoying Raja Rawal Ratan Singh’s role using Deepika Padukone enjoying with the titular role and Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji.
The movie is slated to launch on November 17, 2017.
